This 90-minute interactive session led by James P. McCrary, a consultant with 25 years of diverse experience in the nonprofit sector, will help participants understand how to identify major/legacy gift prospects among their existing donors and move them toward a higher level of support. Specific agenda items will include defining a major gift for your organization, managing and researching your donor base, cultivating selected prospects toward an “ask”, and post-gift stewardship. McCrary is a nonprofit/philanthropic consultant operating out of Birmingham, AL and Little Rock, AR. He holds an undergraduate degree in Human Services Management from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and a graduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. James has over 25 years of professional experience in the nonprofit sector.
